ARTS 142 - Basic Photography

No previous art training required. This course addresses creative problems in photography with an emphasis on design principles, visual elements, image creation and analysis. Camera functions and techniques are introduced. Lectures and presentations address relevant theoretical and historical concepts. Students will use a smartphone camera for this class.
