LITR 358 - Class and Literature 3 Credit(s)
Gen Ed: AC credit. Examines the ways in which social class issues have been expressed in or otherwise have affected works of literature. The course may focus on a specific time period and/or group (e.g., the American Proletarian Novel of the 1930s) or may more generally survey the ways in which particular issues related to economics and/or social status can affect both the construction and reception of literary texts. As warranted.
