This course is a survey of theory, research, and practice of leadership in formal organizations. Topics include leadership behaviors, participative leadership, sources of power, the influence process and managerial effectiveness, managerial traits and skills, charismatic leadership, strategic leadership by top executives, and leadership in decision-making groups.
