POLS 359 - International Migrants & Refugees 4 Credit(s)
Provides an overview over the interdisciplinary study of voluntary and forced international migration. It investigates the history and causes for the processes of migration and its impacts on both sending and receiving countries. In addition, it takes a closer look at experiences of migrants, with a focus on human trafficking and migration control measures as well as transnational living. Counts as a Political Science elective for the International Studies major and minor. Counts as an elective for the Public Policy & Administration Minor.
