COMP 505 - Rhetorical Criticism

This class aims to develop your critical abilities and sensibilities as a scholar of rhetoric and rhetorical messages in our increasingly information-saturated society. Throughout the semester you will become acquainted with various approaches to rhetorical criticism, survey landmark pieces of criticism produced in the field, and develop your skills as a critic through the application of critical methods to analysis of selected rhetorical artifacts.
