MATH 105 - Numerical Designs 3 Credit(s)
The study of numbers and their interrelationships includes prime numbers, counting, factoring, beautiful numerical patterns and powerful methods. In this course, you will investigate numerical designs using discovery, hypothesis, computer investigation, and teamwork. You will learn some basic computer programming and use computers to discover, test, and visualize your theories, just as mathematical researchers do. The only prerequisite for this course is an interest in having fun solving problems and learning computer programming. Fall and Spring.
