CIS 201 - Computer Science I 4 Credit(s)
Introduction to computer science and systems through problem definition, decomposition, solution design, programming, and testing. Programming includes using data types, control structures, and functions; solutions will use simple data, lists, and files. The digital, binary, and general-purpose nature of a modern computer is examined by looking at the parts of the computer and how some data and instructions are encoded in it. Laboratory required. Fall and Spring.
