SOCI 325 - Sociology of Human Services

This course is an introduction to the field of human services with a focus on the interrelationship of policy and practice. Students will gain knowledge of the history of the social welfare system in the United States and be able to apply this knowledge to current day events and contexts. This course will introduce students to the different areas covered in human services and teach students skills required of workers in this field. Fall.

Prerequisite(s): SOCI 101.
