ARTE 407 - Student Teaching Pre K-6

This course provides the student with the initial opportunity to student teach a full semester in the public school setting. Students are assigned to an elementary classroom in which the induction process leads to full teaching responsibilities under the direction and supervision of a sponsor teacher and college supervisor. Students are expected to demonstrate skills in defining educational objectives, developing learning experiences, selecting educational materials, and evaluating pupil performance.
