The course is the culmination of the Environmental Studies major. It brings together academic and experiential components of the major and provides students with an opportunity to complete an independent research project, which students present to the entire Environmental Studies community. Students will demonstrate proficiency in conducting independent research and analysis of an environmental issue, and synthesize course work, experiential opportunities, and research to critically assess and analyze a contemporary environmental issue. Environmental Studies majors only. Senior standing and instructor permission required.
