ARTS 350 - Sculpture II 4 Credit(s)
This course explores the design potential of welded metals as a medium for creative expression. An introduction to the lost wax metal casting process with the option for students to realize concepts in finished bronze casting. Additional options for materials, processes and concepts discussed. Theoretical and historical concerns addressed through lectures and visual presentations. Critical thinking and aesthetic analysis stressed in regular formal classroom critiques.
