Design and creation of ceramic sculpture and wheel-thrown pottery, including preparation of clays, and introduction of glazing and firing of kilns. Lectures and visual presentations address theoretical, historical and critical concepts.

Prerequisite(s): ARTS 110, ARTS 120 and ARTS 130.
