Advanced welding and metal-casting techniques taught along with experimentation with various mold-making techniques. Personal imagery and more emphasis on student-initiated concepts encouraged. Any and all materials and processes can be explored. Historical and theoretical issues addressed through lectures and slide presentations. Critical thinking and aesthetic analysis stressed in regular formal classroom critiques.
