LITR 346 - Satire

A broad survey of satire as a literary technique, looking both at a wide range of examples of satirical texts as well as at critical works that discuss how satire functions. The goal of the course is to differentiate satire from other closely related literary concepts such as humor, irony, parody, invective, etc.
