SOCI 210 - Quantitative Research Methods 3 Credit(s)
This course explores the various quantitative approaches to research design, data collection and analysis, hypothesis formulation, sampling, measurement of variables, data-gathering techniques (experiments, surveys, secondary analysis of existing data, content analysis), and statistical analysis. It includes practical work with data collection and statistical software. Required for the Sociology major.
Prerequisite(s): SOCI 101 or SOCI 103 and STAT 100 or MATH 125 or CIS 125 .
