EDLS 320 - Education Research Assessment And Evaluation 3 Credit(s)
This course is designed to increase educators’ awareness and practice with educational research and the major methods of techniques of assessment used to measure and improve early childhood, elementary, middle and secondary student achievement of learning outcomes. Focus areas will include historical, cultural, analytical, evaluative, theoretical and conceptual treatment of educational assessment. Applications will include: research to inform instruction; assessing and tracking growth and reporting academic achievement for all types of learners; use of technology; and the interpretation of standardized test information.
Prerequisite(s): EDLS 201 And EDLS 207
