DRAM 365 - Theatre and Community 3 Credit(s)
Theatre is a critical tool for engaging communities in creating, cataloguing, and celebrating social change. This course applies theatre-making skills with community cultural development tools to encourage engaged artistry. By directing, producing, acting and developing the new plays for Plays Across the Walls Festival (written by an online community of playwrights), students will experience first-hand the ways in which theatre connects to community while simultaneously developing valuable skills in performing new work.
