COMM 304 - Rhetoric of the North Country

This course explores rhetoric, the North Country, and particularly the rhetoric of the North Country, a fascinating area with rich histories, diverse communities, specific traditions, and many other fascinating and rhetorically significant occurrences. While this course is designed to allow students an opportunity to study and explore practices, histories, communities, and other aspects unique to the North Country, it is also an upper-level seminar course intended to be driven and maintained by student inquiries, discussions, and curiosity or appreciation for the North Country, a region of upstate New York that is home to SUNY Potsdam.
