• At least nine credits taken to satisfy this minor must be upper division.
• Tutorial and Special Topics courses may be used to satisfy the requirements with approval of the adviser.
• The prerequisites for PHIL 355  are waived for students who have declared the minor.
• Ordinarily, no more than two courses from the Language and Linguistics minor may be used to satisfy the requirements for the English major.
• No more than 6 credits in the minor can be used to satisfy other college major or minor requirements. 
• Students graduating with a Language and Linguistics minor must complete the minor requirements with at least a 2.0/S grade in each course.
