The Advanced Certificate in Learning Design is a fully online graduate credential that prepares you for learning, instruction, and training in a variety of contexts (e.g., schools, universities, and the workplace). In this 15-credit (5-course) program, you will experience hands-on, minds-on applied learning using educational technology as you design, create, implement and evaluate learning experiences that address real-world problems with research-based educational solutions in any setting. 

The program is open to anyone with a bachelor’s degree who’s interested in playing a central role in professional development, targeted training, and other learning solutions. As a stand-alone certificate or stackable credential, the Learning Design Certificate of Advanced study extends your knowledge, skills, and attitudes (KSA) related to evidence-based learning design and educational technology.  

The post-baccalaureate certificate can be completed over a minimum of two semesters and leads to the development of a sub-set of high demand Learning Design competencies for careers ranging from human resources, training and development (coordinator, specialist, etc.) instructional design, technology coaching, and professional development. The competencies also complement those of managers and leaders in education, industry, and other workplace settings.
