Art Studio Minor

The Art Studio minor is a structured sequence of Art Studio courses. It is designed to provide students with a basic education in studio art. The Art Department requires that students earn a minimum grade of 2.0 in all courses counted towards the minor. No more than two courses in the Art Department may count toward both the Studio Art minor and the Graphic Design and New Media, B.A. or Graphic Design and New Media, B.F.A. .

- The Minor in Studio Art is NOT available to majors in Studio Art or Visual Arts, B.F.A.
- It is recommended that students planning to take ceramics or sculpture courses take ARTS 130 - Three-Dimensional Design as one of their two foundation courses. Students planning to take two-dimensional courses should take ARTS 110 and ARTS 120 as their foundation courses.
