This minor prepares students for a range of professions seeking to meet the needs of diverse people and organizations and improve the overall quality of life of the populations they serve. Students choosing this minor will complete one of two tracks. The Family and Life Course track will prepare roles centering family systems, youth, or aging populations. The Health and Wellness track will prepare students to work in healthcare and/or mental health.
The minor consists of three required core courses, completion of courses from one of two tracks and a field experience (to be determined in consultation with your advisor). No more than six semester hours of this minor may be counted toward your major.
