LITR 453 - World Literature Themes

Provides an in-depth survey of a particular theme in literary works from cultures other than those of the United States and Great Britain. The course may either focus on a specific culture, language, period, and/or region in examining its particular theme, or it may broadly survey instances of the theme across such boundaries. Works originally written in languages other than English will be read in translation.

Prerequisite(s): LITR 200 or LITR 201, and LITR 300.
