LITR 455 - Irish Literature

Examines Irish literature and its sometimes contentious, always significant impact on European culture. The course may be either an historical overview, with texts from the Book of Kells to Joyce’s Ulysses, or a genre study with particular emphasis on Irish drama, poetry, or novels.

Prerequisite(s): LITR 200 or LITR 201, and LITR 300.
