Grades Birth - 6. Provides an overview of the educational, psychological and social needs of learners with disabilities including students with autism; discusses the impact of special education law on the public school program, provides background for designing appropriate interventions for students with diverse learning needs. Includes 15 hours of field-based experiences. Corequisites: EDLS306, EDUC308, 310 & 312. Prerequisite: EDLS201 & EDLS207.
